Welcome to the CWDS Training and Curriculum Request Page. Please be advised that CWDS provides training and workforce development to Child Welfare Services staff, leadership and other human services programs. These services are provided through funding from CDSS (California Department of Social Services) and county specific funding. Training deliveries are developed collaboratively with CWDS and County Agency staff. Request for training and/or curriculum development via this site is solely designed to be submitted by persons who work in Agency’s that are eligible to receive services via the 7 county’s we currently serve (Imperial, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Ventura) by those who are familiar with the Agency’s training needs, process, and contract scope. Below is a list of basic topic areas where CWDS is able to provide training and /or curriculum development. Please clink on the topic for sample course descriptions of trainings that may be available for delivery to your Agency.

If you have a training request for a topic not listed below please complete the CWDS training request form below and/or reach out to the County Consultant assigned to your Agency for additional information. Please note that this page is not designed to provide training information/dates for individuals seeking training.

County Consultant and other CWDS staff may also submit this form with request for information regarding training’s curriculum available through CWDS. Please only include requests for trainings/curriculum available on the general topic, do not include request for specific courses through this site. Please contact the CWDS Training Development Team for information on specific courses.
