After 18 Learning Day

This Learning Day will include small and large group discussion, break-out sessions, and time for counties to do some strategic planning on their own. Participants are asked to send any questions they would like discussed during the day when they register for the event. Participants are also asked to bring examples of tools they have successfully used with this population (for example, a safety map done with After 18 youth).

In this course trainees will review attachment theory and brain development, leading to a clearer understanding of behavior, for those raised in nurturing families, and for those who have experienced chronic trauma (abuse and neglect).
