Kristen Roberts, MEd

Kristen Roberts (she/her) is a Practice Coach for San Bernardino County at the Academy for Professional Excellence. In this role, she provides coaching and training to support child welfare staff. Kristen earned her BA in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University and MEd in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. She is also certified to administer and interpret emotional intelligence assessments.
Before joining the Academy, Kristen worked for seven years in career development within the UC system where she supported students in the social sciences as well as formerly incarcerated students, student veterans, and first generation college students. Kristen believes in supporting others holistically so that they can incorporate their knowledge, skills, and values as they serve their communities.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys hiking, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
