Minola Clark Manson receives CYFSOC Advancing Principles Awards

 

The Academy for Professional Excellence is proud to announce that Minola Clark Manson, Responsive Integrated Health Solutions (RIHS) Program Director, was selected to receive the County of San Diego, Children, Youth and Families System of Care Advancing Principles Award!

 

Each year, the Children, Youth and Families System of Care (CYFSOC) Training Academy presents an Advancing Principles Award to an individual and/or organization who are doing an exceptional job of demonstrating the Children, Youth and Families System of Care principles: Collaborative; Integrated; Child, Youth, and Family Driven; Individualized; Strength-Based; Community-Based; Outcome-Driven; Culturally Competent; Trauma-Informed and Persistent. Minola was selected unanimously by the committee via an anonymous selection process.

The committee’s nomination reads as follows:

Minola leads the Academy for Professional Excellence’s Responsive Integrated Health Solutions (RIHS) program, which consists of a team dedicated to providing relevant and high-quality workforce development opportunities and training to advance the knowledge base and expertise of the County Behavioral Health workforce.

 

Minola and her team are deeply involved and visible throughout the Children, Youth and Families system of care. Minola shares her experience and expertise in a collaborative and professional way that produces high quality and innovative learning opportunities. She influences those around her by cultivating genuine connections among her RIHS team, the broader Academy, and with all RIHS partners.

 

Minola practices individualized and strengths-based leadership and models and prioritizes self-care and work-life balance. Minola is a prominent advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is continually working to identify and promote recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and anti-racism practices that inspire organizational change through her relationships throughout the Children, Youth and Families system of care.
