Structured Decision Making (SDM)

Structured Decision Making (SDM) across the state

Starting with the roll-out of Common Core 3.0, the Academies are now supporting Structured Decision Making (SDM) across the state. SDM is now highly integrated with Safety Organized Practice, and our approach to the system reflects this focus.

If you are training a class for the Academy, please contact our Training Development team about the appropriate versions of training materials. To access all the resources available from NCCD for training SDM and to view past webinars from the Core Team (instructive for anyone interested in promoting the practice), visit NCCD. The password for access isĀ training.

Keep in mind that you can use these materials without sticking to the suggested time frames. In other words, take a full day to do an Advanced Series for Supervisors Module instead of 3 hours if that works for your learners.
