Trainer Biography
Kimberly Bullard, MSW, ACSW
Kimberly Bullard is a Service Provider with Child Welfare Service Development at the Academy of Professional Development. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. She holds an Associate Clinical Social Work license (ACSW) with the State of California and has over 16 years of experience in Child Protective Services.
Kimberly Bullard has extensive experience in Child Protective Services having worked with children, youth and adults to facilitate reunification and enhance self-growth and sufficiency. Her professional experience also includes curriculum development in Child Welfare and work as a facilitator for varied levels of staff. Kimberly specializes in enhancing Cultural Humility practices, ER, Voluntary and CS social work practices and skills, Risk and safety Assessments, Child and Family Team Meetings and Safety Organized practices.
As a trainer, her goal is to empower staff in navigating change, empowerment, training and the promotion of a growth mindset in professional settings in an overall effort to enhance Child Welfare systems for staff and families.
Kimberly enjoys traveling for leisure, exercising, volunteering with community-based organizations, mentoring graduate students at CSULB, boating and attending musical concerts.
