Trainer Biography
Feledier Thrower, M.Ed.
Feledier Thrower is employed in the capacity of Social Services Supervisor for the County of Riverside, Children’s Services Division and brings 27 years of experience in Child Welfare. She received her B.S. in Social Work and M.Ed. from Tuskegee University.
In 1996, she began her career in the social services industry as a foster care social worker. In 1999, she was hired by Riverside County as a Children’s Social Services worker and was assigned to Emergency Response, Family Reunification, Family Maintenance and Permanency Planning programs. In 2007, she was promoted to a Supervisor in the Children’s Services Division where she supervised various programs. Feledier has training experience in strength-based leadership, Quality Parenting Initiative, and child welfare related issues. She is a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She has one daughter and one Granddaughter; and enjoys spending time with family, sorority, listening to music and traveling.
