SafeMeasures Basic Training
Level: Advanced Practice – Lineworker, Supervisor, or Manager
Credits: 3
Intended Audience: SafeMeasures is a Quality Improvement tool and this course is intended for line workers, supervisors, or managers to understand how to use SafeMeasures to assess whether federal, state, and local requirements are being met. SafeMeasures also provides the ability to track agency, unit, and worker performance over time. In addition, it allows Lineworkers and supervisors to monitor their workload and to identify out-of-compliance cases. Each trainee must have their own SafeMeasures User ID and must have logged into SafeMeasures at least once before the training.
Description of Course: This course is a hands-on training where every participant will interact with SafeMeasures and will learn how to use SafeMeasures to assess whether federal, state, and local requirements are being met. SafeMeasures also provides the ability to track agency, unit, and worker performance overtime. In addition, it allows Lineworkers and supervisors to monitor their workload and to identify out-ofcompliance/cases.

- Understand where the data from SafeMeasures comes from
- Demonstrate how to navigate around SafeMeasures
- Demonstrate how to generate reports from SafeMeasures
- Understand how to assess whether federal, state, and local requirements are being met
- Understand how to track agency, unit, and worker performance over time
