In the effort to implement and sustain Safety Organized Practice (SOP) in California’s child welfare agencies throughout the state, many different counties and regions have developed resources to support SOP practice at different levels. The SOP Backbone Committee worked to compile and maintain these resources in one centralized location. As a result, we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of the SOP toolkit, available on the CalSWEC website, capturing these rich and varied resources and making them available to child welfare practitioners statewide.
This toolkit includes resources related to:
- Implementing/sustaining SOP practice,
- Supervision and coaching tools,
- Direct practice tools for social workers,
- Evaluation/fidelity tools,
and more!
No matter where you are at in SOP implementation, at the individual or organizational level, you will find some resource that is applicable and supportive to your SOP practice.
