CANS Update, May 2022

The CANS/CFT workgroup continues to work on the CFT/CANS videos and brochures: English and Spanish brochures have been posted at the CDSS website. The team is working on translating the brochures in additional languages.
The workgroup also completed the following CFT/CANS videos: Teen, Youth, First time adult participants, CFTs for Behavioral Health workers, CFTs for Child Welfare Workers, and CFTs for Probation Officers. The videos are in English and with Spanish subtitles and have been uploaded to YouTube and linked to the CDSS webpage. Video links can be found on the “Best Practices, Videos, and FAQ’s” page.

The CFT/CANS convenings “Storming the Barriers” is still in the planning stages. A convening survey was sent to county agency leadership members for input on the planning.

CDSS and the workgroups are working on developing/revising the CFT Satisfaction Surveys.
