Below you will find the monthly CACWT & Curriculum updates for March/April 2024. We are utilizing a couple different methods of communication and are hopeful that through these different avenues the training system partners have the most up to date information. Continuing Training

*Newly created courses – One Time Funding:

• Emergency Response Fundamentals – This is a 2 day instructor-led course with a Satisfaction Survey on day 2.
• Best Practices for Court Supervised Family Maintenance – This is a 1 day instructor-led course with a pre-evaluation, post-evaluation and satisfaction survey.

*Revised Course:

• Quality Caseworker Visits – This is an active 2 day instructor-led course in CACWT that was recently revised in collaboration with BAA Race, Equity, and Inclusion Consultants and Evaluation Specialists. The revisions to this course include not only content changes (located in the version change document within the course materials) and a newly created pre evaluation (day 1) & post evaluation with the satisfaction survey (day 2). This is one of next FY’s identified annual continuing training courses.

Disclaimer: The current Evaluation Guide (January 2024) does not have this new evaluation reflected and will not be updated by CalSWEC before the In-Service Training program closure. Please make note for your own internal records until the next iteration of this Guide is made available.
