The Academy kicked off 2026 with a dual celebration! While we traditionally hold an end of year gathering, this year we decided to combine our celebration with a heartfelt farewell to our Executive Director, Jen TT.

The event brought staff together to connect over a potluck lunch and enjoy a retro 80’s and 90’s musical theme. We also saw the return of a crowd favorite: karaoke! It was a big hit, with colleagues stepping up for solos, duets, and group performances.

The highlight of the day was honoring Jen TT. After 25 years of dedicated service, she is embarking on a well deserved retirement. Staff took turns sharing memories and expressing how Jen TT has shaped not only their individual careers but the organization as a whole.

Between signing Jen TT’s memory book and cutting into a music themed cake, the room was filled with laughter and creation of memories. Goodbyes and good vibes, paired with great food was the perfect send off for a leader who will be missed.
