The National Adult Protective Services Training Center (NATC), funded by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and administered by the National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA), provides self-paced eLearning courses for Adult Protective Services (APS) professionals throughout the United States. The NATC currently has 24 courses about core topics important to the work of APS, along with hundreds of resources that provide additional knowledge about these topics. There is no cost to register and take any of the self-paced eLearning courses. Examples of course topics that may be of interest to ACL’s networks include:
- An overview of Adult Protective services
- Power and control dynamics
- Trauma-informed practices
- The aging process and neuro-cognitive disorders
Core Competency Areas training is free for out-of-state registrars through The National Adult Protective Services Training Center (NATC).
