Staff Biography
Kristine (Kris) Kuhn, MSE
CWDS Workforce Development Facilitator

Kris joined the team as a Workforce Development Facilitator in April 2023. She provides workforce development services to public child welfare staff, including in-person and classroom delivery to encourage best practice and transfer of learning. She works closely with the larger team to support regional and county workforce development needs, always striving to integrate culturally responsive, anti-racist, trauma-informed and recovery-orientated practices.
Native to Wisconsin, Kris received her BA from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI and her MSE from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She has 25+ years of experience as a teacher, counselor and trainer in K-12 and higher education settings. She’s passionate about helping others identify and achieve their goals by providing access to knowledge and opportunity. She values connection and discussion around topics that help us all grow our perspective. Kris now resides in southern California and enjoys hanging at the beach, hiking, cooking and all things music.
