Jenna Nevitt serves CWDS as a WDS County Consultant, supporting Imperial, Orange, and Ventura counties. She received a BA in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009 and an MSW from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014, where she was a Title IV-E Child Welfare Stipend recipient. Jenna worked for six years in Child Welfare as a Protective Services Worker in Ongoing, Court, and Policy Units in Contra Costa and San Francisco Counties. Jenna joined CWDS in 2020 as a Practice Coach in Ventura County. Jenna is very passionate about supporting children and families and believes that a critical component of this lies in supporting child welfare staff so they have the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to serve their communities to the best of their ever-growing abilities. In her free time, Jenna loves hiking, Friday “Movie and Mac and Cheese” nights with her family, and spending time at the beach.
