Trainer Biography
Rachel Haine-Schlagel, PhD
Rachel Haine-Schlagel holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Arizona State University. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at the University of California, San Diego and Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego and is a licensed psychologist in California. She has been a mental health services researcher for the past fifteen years, with a focus on promoting parent active participation in child and family focused services. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Child and Family Development at San Diego State University and an investigator at the Child and Adolescent Services Research Center. Dr. Haine-Schlagel has conducted numerous trainings throughout San Diego County focused on how to engage parents in child and family focused services.
