Trainer Biography
Susan Mahoney, LCSW
Ms. Mahoney received her Bachelors of Science Degree from California State University in Fullerton in 1991. Ms. Mahoney received her Masters of Social Work Degree from California State University in Long Beach in 1995. Ms. Mahoney became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in November of 2003.
Ms. Mahoney has worked in the field of Child Welfare for over 20 years. Ms. Mahoney began working for Riverside County Children’s Services Division in 1995 as an Emergency Response worker. She then became an Emergency Response Supervisor, Assistant Regional Manager for an Operational Regional and is currently a Regional Manager for the Command Post in Riverside County, managing staff who respond to after- hours, holidays and weekend emergencies.
Ms. Mahoney also co-facilitates an initiative within Riverside County Children’s Services called Faith in Motion whose primary focus is to work directly with faith based partners, recruiting foster homes and providing support services for the children and families that are currently involved in the child welfare system within Riverside County.
