Sigalit Klein
Sigalit Klein is a Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed both in California and Nevada. She holds a Master of Science in Child Development from the University of London, Institute of Education and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute. She currently serves as Director of Mental Health Services at A Change in Trajectory where she has been serving the neurodiverse community for over 6 years. She particularly enjoys training licensed professionals, clinical managers, clinical associates, and support staff utilizing interactive and effective modalities.
Sigalit has presented on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Relational-Sexual Development, the Effects of Childhood Trauma, Adolescent Development, Attention Hyperactivity Disorder, School Advocacy, Parent Training, Child Development, initial Intake-Assessment as well as Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace. Sigalit is a certified Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) trainer and has been training with the Academy for Professional Excellence for almost two years. Throughout her clinical and educational career spanning over 25 years, Sigalit has worked with children, youth, and families to provide effective, evidence-based treatment with an aim towards self-advocacy and self-management.
She is highly experienced in diagnostic assessment, development and implementation of behavior health and adaptive skills treatment plans and development of social skill group programing within an environment of cultural humility and trauma informed care. Sigalit values the importance of collaborative coordination of care within a diverse multidisciplinary team of specialists to promote circles of support, skill building, resiliency, and independence. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dogs and going on family adventures.
