Trainer Biography
Frank O. Tetley, JD
Mr. Tetley is a graduate of Western State University of Law in Fullerton, California. He has been a lawyer for 26 years, and has particular expertise in the areas of the Juvenile, Dependency and Family Law, and malpractice. He was Juvenile Court Commissioner with the San Bernardino Superior Court for 14 years, serving in both Dependency Court and Family Court.
In November 2004, the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA), National Staff Development and Training Association awarded the 2004 Distinguished Service in Training Award to Frank Tetley, JD, and his wife, Mary Tysor-Tetley, LCSW. They were presented with this award in appreciation for the time they have spent in training social workers, attorneys and other professionals in the areas of testifying, interviewing, court report writing and many other legal and clinical issues.
Currently, Mr. Tetley is in private practice in Riverside. He is an adjunct professor at Loma Linda University, School of Social Work, teaching Legal and Ethical Issues in Social Work.
