Trainer Biography
Colette Crawford, MS
Colette Crawford has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University, Riverside. She is a Regional Manager for Riverside County Children’s Services Division and has over 23 years of experience in Child Welfare. She started with the County at an entry level social worker position and worked her way up to her current position.
The story about how she started her career is distinctive, but Ms. Crawford’s calling was always to help people. While pursuing her master’s degree, information was shared in class by a child welfare professional, she was led to apply for employment and the rest is history.
Ms. Crawford has experience in a multitude of programs such as Legal Guardianship, ICPC, Investigative Services, Continuing Services, Policy, Placement, Intake, Training Region, Adoptions, Contracts, Parent and Youth Partners, and Project Management. Her time in the training region helped spark her passion for developing others and for the past 15 years she has trained child welfare staff, community partners and agency stakeholders.
In her free time, Ms. Crawford enjoys traveling to new places and tasting exotic foods and she enjoys outdoor activities.
