Carlos McCray, MSW, ASW

Carlos McCray is the Co-Founder of The Dojo Cafe, a social enterprise community coffee shop focused on coffee, culture and community. The Dojo is a culmination of Carlos’ various experiences over the years working for different nonprofits empowering those living in underserved communities. He considers himself a Social Work Entrepreneur, having grown frustrated with the traditional nonprofit model, determined to blend various business and nonprofit models to create sustainable change. Carlos is a passionate Social Worker dedicated to helping and serving families in San Diego. His mantra is to do something every day, big or small, to help make the world a better place. Carlos can also be found teaching Social Work at Cuyamaca Community College a few days a week.
