Trainer Biography
Anne Ballard
Mrs. Ballard obtained her Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University
of La Verne in May 2000. She became a social worker in August 2000. In September 2014, Mrs. Ballard
promoted to a Children and Family Services Training and Development Specialist for the County of San
Bernardino; she still is in this current position. Her expertise is in curriculum development and training
topics specific to Child Welfare. Some of Mrs. Ballard’s passions in training include Trauma Informed
Practice, the Integrated Core Practice Model, Diversity and inclusion, Health, Wellness and Self Care. As
an adoptee herself, Mrs. Ballard is dedicated to assisting children in care, and their families, work
towards creating a safe environment in which children can thrive. In her spare time, Mrs. Ballard enjoys
spending time with her husband, children, and three granddaughters.
