Trainer Biography
Anita Sanchez, MPA
Growing up as a first-generation Latinx in a California Central Valley rural community and being the first college graduate of her family. Anita Sanchez, MPA has 21 years of child welfare experience. Obtaining her Master’s in Public Administration and Bachelor in Child and Family Studies provided her with a unique experience as she worked with Immigrant families in the Child Welfare system. Anita brings coaching experience as a Social Worker in reunification, Independent Living Program, and Emergency Response, and as a Supervisor in Emergency Response, Court Writing, Resource Family Approval and Reunification Services. Anita is a Family First Services Program, PRAED certified CANS trainer, Evident Change SDM trainer, and Safety Organized Practice training/ coaching. Anita has presented her experience in conducting Stay Interviews as a Workforce Retention tool to CWDA and continues to be a California Youth Connection Adult Supporter.
