November 21, 2022, San Diego, CA – The Leaders in Action (LIA) program held its orientation for participants on November 16, 2022 in preparation for the 2023 LIA cohort (LIA 17).

With San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) joining the executive development training program this year, LIA 17 includes 30 participants from nine southern counties human services programs.

Our new SACHS/LIA Program Manager, Alice Kennedy and Assistant Program Coordinator, Tina Kerrigan are excited for the program to resume in-person classes after virtual offerings during COVID-19. The first in-person training block will begin on January 31, 2022 in Riverside, CA.

LIA 17 will consist of five total training blocks held through May 2023. The program’s ultimate goal is to create a critical mass of highly competent executives in the Southern California region ready for tomorrow’s county leadership opportunities and challenges.
