Description of Course: This course will provide training on the purposes and uses of learning circles, the key practice of a facilitative supervisor, the importance of both process and content, how learning circles are structured, and an overview on the Super 8.

Intended Objectives:

• Understand the purpose and uses of learning circles to support training and practice improvement of staff
• Describe and use the Super 8
• List and use the key practices of a facilitative supervisor
• Describe the value of focusing on both process and content during a learning circle
• Review the approach and structure of a learning circle session
• Practice engaging in a learning circle session through “speed circles”
• Join a learning circle and schedule first meeting
