Description of Course: This course utilizes lecture, small group activities, and discussions

Intended Objectives:

• Define and develop Harm, Worry, Goal Statements with Families that support meeting families underling needs in the context of safety, permanency, and wellbeing
• Demonstrate the ability to use the consultative framework in both a professional setting and with families
• Identify and Plan Use of Strategies to support the Los Angeles Core Practice Model both within the context of a Child and Family Team and throughout the life of a case

Topics Include:

• Harm, Worry and Goal Statements
• Link these Statements in the context of supporting safety, permanency and wellbeing
• Understandign caregiver actions and impact to the child for both safety and danger
• Using the consultative framework to support rigorous and balanced assessments
