Intended Audience: Supervisors and/or managers seeking methods and skills to enhance the effectiveness of meetings while making them more productive
Intended Objectives:
- Understand the types and purposes of meetings
- Identify tools for effective meetings
- Ways to incorporate decision-making styles
- Getting decisions made
Topics Include:
- Purposes and types of meetings
- Alternatives to meetings
- Decision-making styles
- Steps in the meeting process
- Utilizing effective meeting tools
- Identifying key roles
- Developing ILPs (Individual Learning Plans) and TAPs (Team Action Plans)
- Learn and practice reaching consensus
- Evaluating meetings

XIV.a Can lead or attend meetings, committees, task forces, etc.
