Marc Ross Manashil
MPA, MSW
Marc Ross Manashil, MPA, MSW, is a consultant and educator specializing in collaboration and leadership development. A social worker by training, Manashil spent his early career working in the international development and philanthropy arena where he served as longtime executive director of a foundation that organizes global donor circles, as program director for a medical relief organization, and director of an NGO working to prevent child mortality in West Africa.
Manashil was inspired by the adaptive leadership framework while pursuing his MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School in 2009-10 and has since facilitated hundreds of adaptive leadership classes and programs throughout the nonprofit and public sectors.
Manashil is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Co-Founder of the Adaptive Leadership in Human Services Institute at NYU’s Silver School of Social Work and is Principal of CoInnovate Consulting, which provides leadership training and conflict transformation support to organizations and communities worldwide.
In addition to his MPA, Marc holds a Master of Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and a BA in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
