Amy Isiaho
MSW
Amy Isiaho has an MSW from San Diego State University and a BS in Psychology from Missouri State University. Ms.Isiaho started her career in Child Welfare after observing the interaction between clients at a mental health organization in Texas and the child welfare workers. She moved to San Diego two years later due to her husband’s time in the military and has remained as a worker with the County of San Diego for over ten years. While working in Child Welfare, she has worked in numerous roles ranging from Emergency Response, Continuing Services, and Placement as a worker and supervisor. She moved into administration as a Policy Analyst for Continuous Quality Improvement. She is currently a Policy Analyst in San Diego’s new prevention office, the Office of Child and Family Strengthening where she helps develop and implement community supporting initiatives.
As part of her current role and while she was a supervisor, Ms. Isiaho found her passion to help staff reach their goals and progress in their practice. She has worked to create and implement trainings for her programs. Outside of work, Ms. Isiaho enjoys painting, hiking, reading Romantasy books, and watching reruns of her favorite shows: Ted Lasso, The Office, and Parks & Recreation.
