CANS/CFT Update, February 2022

 

CANS/CFT workgroup is planning a statewide convening “Storming the Barriers: CANS Centered Teaming, Assessment and Care Coordination as Cornerstones of System of Care Success”: the workgroup continues to work on the agenda and confirm the convening date.

 

The team also continues to work on the CANS/CFT videos and brochures: English brochures have been posted. There will be a translated versions as well. The teen, youth and first-time adult participant video’s in English and Spanish have been uploaded to YouTube and linked to the CDSS webpage.

 

Video links can be found on the “Best Practices, Videos, and FAQ’s” page. Child welfare, probation, behavioral health engagement/interviews videos are in progress: CW: Video finalized. English/Spanish subtitles are being added; BH: Video cut is being edited; JPD: video is being edited.

 

The team is looking into combined interviews from (CW/JPD/BH) video of best practice messages for placement agency workers. Lastly, The Tribal communities’ video is in progress: CDSS will be re-engaging with the office to tribal affairs to revisit video and make edits.
