Core 3.0 review and revisions remain underway at the statewide level. Pilots have been held and/or scheduled for the Child Maltreatment Indicators (CMI), Teaming, and Structured Decision Making (SDM), courses. County representative, trainers, and Southern RTA staff participate in each pilot to provide feedback on the curriculum development. The time frame for implementation of the fully revised Core content (Core 3.5) remains July 1, 2021 and is expected to be implemented into the new statewide Blackboard SIS/LMS system. The revised content will also be developed in compliance with the American Disability Acts (ADA) standards.
- Field Advisor Training Content – The Field Advisor subcommittee is still in the process of recommending revisions to the statewide Field Advisor training content and is scheduled to be implemented in conjunction with Core 3.5.
CWS Supervisor Core A soft rollout of the existing Supervisor Core training in the statewide Blackboard SIS/LMS system will take place with any Supervisor Cores training delivered across the state after January 1, 2021. Also, a review of the statewide Supervisor core content, which was implemented in January 2020, will begin in January 2021 to identify any revisions that may need to be incorporated into the existing standardized content including potential revisions to the workbook and professional development plan. Any revisions to Supervisor Core content will also be implemented in July 1, 2021.
The Academy CWDS Program continues to develop curriculum for e-learnings, micro-learnings, simulations, etc. for counties and the region as needed and/or as per request. Please note that any curriculum developed for CWDS will need to be in compliance with ADA standards. More information and resources to assist with this process will be provided soon.
