Trainer Biography
Becky Leib Kennedy, MA
Ms. Kennedy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Agency Management from Missouri Valley College and a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from the University of San Diego.
Ms. Kennedy has worked as a child welfare professional since 1990 when she became a Protective Services Worker for the County of San Diego Department of Social Services.
Employed for 14 years by Casey Family Programs, Ms. Kennedy had the opportunity to train various topics on many aspects of Child Welfare to foster parents, children and youth, and other professionals.
Ms. Kennedy has developed curriculum on topics including promoting placement stability, preparing children for adulthood, and sexual health and pregnancy prevention for young women in the child welfare system.
Ms. Kennedy has served as a Child Welfare Services Policy Analyst for over 7 years. She has expertise in several areas including Structured Decision Making and Safety Organized Practice.
Additionally Ms. Kennedy is certified in Reality Therapy by the William Glasser Institute and has served as a member of the William Glasser Institute Faculty.
