Trainer Biography
Shelley Townley
Shelley Townley is currently a supervisor in Ventura County Children and Family Services and supervises the Emergency Response program. She has been a Supervisor for almost 9 years in the Training Unit, CFTM, Placement (REPS) and Emergency Response programs. She was a social worker for fifteen years prior (nine as a lead worker) across all programs in the child welfare continuum. She is also an Emerging Leaders program and is the Co-Chair of Peer Support. She wanted to become a trainer because she really enjoys watching others learn and grow. She also wanted to do something with all of her child welfare knowledge and experience. She has her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She grew up in Orange County where she met and married her high school sweet heart. She has two adult children whom she loves enjoying the outdoors with.
