Trainer Biography
Mechelle Robinson, LMFT
Mechelle is a license marriage and family therapist. Throughout her clinical career, Mechelle has worked with children, youth, and families to provide effective, evidence-based treatment with an aim towards self-advocacy and self-management. She has presented on CANS, CFTM, CANS integration, Psych Meds, Organization Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, the Effects of Childhood Trauma, Childhood and Adolescent Development, School Advocacy, Parent Training, and has expertise with curriculum development and training on topics specific to Behavioral Health and Child Welfare. Mechelle has 30yrs of leadership and management experience and enjoys training on Leadership and Management skills, Culturally Responsive Practice Behaviors as well as Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
She is highly experienced in leading teams, and project development and implementation, diagnostic assessment, development and implementation of behavior health and adaptive skills treatment plans and development of social skill group programming within an environment of cultural humility and trauma informed care. Mechelle values the importance of collaborative coordination within a diverse multidisciplinary team of specialists to promote teaming, communication, engagement, circles of support, skill building, resiliency, and independence. In her free time, she loves being with her grandbabies, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
