LaShuana Williams, BA
LaShuana has over 20 years of experience in the field of child welfare services. Throughout her career, she has held various positions, including Children’s Social Worker, Mentor, Court Officer, Team Decision Making Facilitator, Children’s Services Supervisor, and Regional Manager for after hours and operational regions. With a deep understanding of the importance of safety organized practice, LaShuana was an early adopter and seamlessly integrated this approach into her daily work.
In addition to her direct service experience, LaShuana has a commitment to continuous improvement, served as a member of the Continuous Quality Improvement Council with Riverside County Children Services.
LaShuana’s expertise extends beyond her day-to-day responsibilities. She has actively participated in conferences and delivered training on structured decision-making, sharing her knowledge and best practices with emerging leaders in the child welfare field. Currently, LaShuana serves as a manager, overseeing a team of supervisors promoting the development of new practitioners joining our organization. Her team provides hands-on experience to supplement classroom learning, focusing on field and case work in investigations and dependency cases.
With extensive experience in child welfare services, LaShuana brings passion to her role, relishing the mentorship and training of others. Her work, infused with a background in psychology, reflects a dedication to empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential. At the heart of her approach is a belief in the transformative power of personal development, a philosophy she’s eager to empower. In LaShuana’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, creating, and enjoying meaningful experiences.
