Trainer Biography

Susanne Terry, MPH

Susanne Terry has 25 years of experience in human services and education. She has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California; was the Administrator of Maui County Drug Court; spent 11 years as Director of a non-profit child abuse prevention agency and has consulted on a number of issues relating to the education of students in foster care, experiencing homelessness or those who identify as LGBT. Currently she is the McKinney Vento Homeless Liaison for the San Diego County Office of Education and provides support to the over 23,000 children experiencing homelessness and the 42 school districts that serve them in San Diego County.
