Trainer Biography

Emily Velazquez Trask, Ph.D.

Emily Trask is a Senior Research Associate with the San Diego System of Care Evaluation (SOCE) project and a consultant on the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare project. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist with special training in child and family interventions, she is an expert in outcome measurement design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation. She has worked closely with the local county-wide projects to clarify outcome indicators, select valid and feasible measures, and develop data collection mechanisms. Dr. Trask has also taught evidence-based therapy courses and provided clinical supervision to doctoral-level trainees in evidence-based practices, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
