Trainer Biography

Ashley Labistour, LMFT

Ashley Labistour graduated from Pepperdine University with her Bachelor of Arts in 1996 and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling in 1998. She has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in children, since 2001. Ashley is a UC Davis approved PCIT (parent-child interaction therapy) trainer and a nationally approved trainer for Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She formerly worked as a therapist and supervisor at Children’s Institute Incorporated (CII) in Los Angeles for 11 years. Ashley was the treatment coordinator for the Sexual Abuse Program at CII and also received her training in PCIT and TF-CBT while employed there. She is currently an independent consultant and has been providing TF-CBT training and consultation for various agencies in Southern and Northern California since 2008. Ashley is happily married with 2 young girls and lives in Carpinteria, California with her family.
