Trainer Biography

Alicia Outcalt, LCSW

Alicia Outcalt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice. Ms. Outcalt is a speaker and trainer in the mental health and recovery community. She is a faculty member at the University of Phoenix. Ms. Outcalt has worked in the field of dual diagnosis since 1997 with the development of the UCSD Dual Diagnosis demonstration project. Ms. Outcalt has trained and led a multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrist, psychologists, social workers, and recovery counselors in an integrated model of psychiatry and addiction recovery within the UCSD Department of Psychiatry. Ms. Outcalt also specializes in trauma and is an EMDR facilitator for the Humanitarian Assistance Program and the EMDR Institute.
