Where will the Conference be held?
The CYF-SOC Conference will be held at Crowne Plaza Mission Valley, in the Grand Hanelei Ballroom. The address is:

What is the schedule for the Conference?
The conference begins with registration and a continental breakfast from 8:00 am – 8:30 am. The conference will begin promptly at 8:30 am. There will be a a mid-morning 15 minute break, an hour lunch, and another 15 minute break in the mid afternoon. The conference will end at 4:30 pm.
Will parking be available?
The registration fee for the conference includes parking. Validation coupons will be handed out during conference check-in. Parking for the conference at Crowne Plaza Mission Valley will be in the north parking area by the Grand Hanelei Ballroom. Click here for a map for parking and the Grand Hanelei Ballroom.
Will food be provided?
A continental breakfast will be provided between 8:00 am-8:30 am. Conference participants will be provided with a buffet style lunch. Vegan and gluten-free options will be available. Light refreshments will be served during conference breaks.
What is the refund policy?

Continuing Education Credits
What happens if I am late?
The Academy for Professional Excellence’s Continuing Education (CE) provider agreement stipulates that participants cannot receive CEs if they miss more than 15 minutes of an in-person event. However, your ticket is still valid and you’re welcome to enter the conference and participate. Visit our website here for more information on our CE policies.
When will I be able to get my CEs?
CE certificates are available for download on the Learning Management System (LMS) 3-5 days after the training day or the last day of a series is complete.
I attended the Conference, but it’s not letting me get my CEs. Why won’t I get CEs?
Attendees who miss more than 15 minutes of any portion of an in-person training are not eligible to receive CEs. Attendees must also sign in, sign out, and complete an evaluation to be eligible to receive CEs.

Who can apply for the CYF-SOC Conference Scholarship?
CYF-SOC Conference Scholarship Applications are open to Family Partners, Parent Partners, or Youth Partners.
What are important Scholarship application dates?
The application process closes March 29, 2019. Scholarship recipients will be contacted by April 12, 2019.
When will I know if I am a Scholarship recipient?
Calls will be made to Scholarship recipients the week of tbd. All Scholarship applicants will receive an email from one of our CYF-SOC Scholarship Coordinators.
