Using PowerPoint to Enhance Training and Presentations

Level: Advanced Practice – Trainers, Supervisors, Managers

Credits: 6

Intended Audience: This course is intended for those participants who wish to learn additional skills in developing PowerPoint presentations. Participants must have basic understanding and skills in PowerPoint prior to taking this class

Intended Objectives:

  • To identify elements of effective PowerPoint Presentations
  • To list strengths and weaknesses of PowerPoint
  • Skill development with graphs, photographs and video clips in PowerPoint

Topics Include:

  • Structuring and Conveying Effective Messages
  • Manipulating Photographs
  • Use of Graphs in PowerPoint
  • Use of Diagrams
  • Practice Skill Development in new PowerPoint Skills
