Training Components
- 11 days of training delivered by current
and past agency directors and executives, professional trainers, university
faculty, and program alumni.
- Curriculum changes are made every year to maintain currency w/the needs of the counties served.
- A 360 Assessment (include hyperlink to view a sample 360 report)
providing feedback from supervisors, peers, and subordinates on job performance.
- An Individual Development Plan (IDP) identifying concrete, measurable
steps to achieve career goals, based on 360 feedback.
- A Book Club where LIA participants meet to discuss issues facing
today’s leaders as expressed in current leadership literature.
- Regular cross-county networking opportunities to exchange ideas
and develop professional relationships with peers in other agencies.
