PCWTA TRAINERS

The Academy uses a variety of trainers who are experts in their subject areas.

Many of of our trainers have significant experience in child welfare services and all of them are expected to link the material they present in Academy classes to Child Welfare Service practice.

Our trainers are continually evaluated by the trainees and by the Training Center Directors to insure that they are providing up to date information and skill-building experiences that are current, relevant and represent best-practice standards.

Additionally, trainers are expected to update their curricula to reflect the child welfare outcomes of safety, permanence, well-being and fairness and equity.
